Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas Eve Taylor set out cookies, milk and carrots for Santa and his reindeer...

Santa left a lot of presents!

And is a very messy eater...

First present Taylor opened was from Uncle Clint & Auntie Carla. Giro ("mommy") Giraffe! Taylor LOVES her!

After all the presents had been opened, it was of course time to try for a family photo. No shock, the girls didn't want to cooperate...

better luck once we were dressed for church

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!!!

weekend in Woodstock, NY

We went and stayed at a house in Woodstock, NY for the weekend to celebrate Ken's 30th birthday. It was a much needed fun and relaxing weekend (aside from Caley cutting teeth and being kind of a disaster)  :)  Taylor had a blast and Caley slept a ton so Pat & I still had a blast. Saturday morning was busy with snowman [and snowdog] building, sledding and watching movies! We played a ton of games (including apples to apples which Taylor joined in on) and laughed A LOT! It was great :)

Taylor's Birthday Party

We had Taylor's 3rd birthday party yesterday even though her actual birthday is the 28th (it's just too hard that close to Christmas!) I asked Taylor weeks ago what activity she would like to do. First she told me that she wanted to have a princess tea party, which would have been fine except that all of the friends she wanted to invite were boys! I asked her to maybe think of something else and she then decided "play doh party!" so that's what we did.

Given the snow situation we had to roll with the punches and change party time. I was so nervous that people won't be able to come due to the snow, but we had a great party and Taylor was sooooo happy :)

Thank you to everyone who braved the snow to celebrate with us. Unfortunately those in NJ were unable to get here due to the storm, but Taylor loves the gifts that they sent! Thank you! We're sorry you couldn't make it.
