We were in Philly & NJ this past weekend for a wedding and an early Thanksgiving with my (Tif's) side of the family... We thought this a great time for a new family photo. A few tries to get one just right, but it was worth it ;)

Caley had 3 First Birthday celebrations (not including one she also had at school!) so there are lots of pictures of her eating icing... i mean "cake" :)  Much more than we let Taylor have at one, for sure!

Disclaimer: Caley loved all of her presents! She looks so cranky (and had a binky) because she was cutting THREE teeth that weekend! Turning one isn't easy.

For Caley's "real birthday" cake, Taylor helped me to decorate it and i must say she did a great job! Thanks, Taylor!!  :)

our little gymnast

Caley had her one year check-up today. Dr said she looks great, but she is kind of tiny! His exact words were, she is very small, but built like a gymnast! He said that developmentally she is hitting 15 month milestones, so that is terrific! She didn't sit still for a second. He was very impressed with how well she walks and "talks" and of course all of her smiling (this was of course prior to getting 4 shots!)

Her stats:
19 lbs, 4 ounces - 10th%ile     &     29"  - 50th %ile
weight for length - 25th %ile

Happy Birthday to Caley!!!!

Cannot believe that Caley is one already! She makes us laugh and smile everyday! We can already tell she has a great sense of humor, but she also has a very strong personality (just try taking a crayon away from her!) Caley loves to talk all the time - she says dada, mama, baba, "i do it" and (we think) 'all done'. She and Taylor are the best of friends, and play well together... most of the time :) Caley walks and runs very well these days! She is a very busy girl, always on the move.
