summer is here

We (and by we, i mean Taylor) spends a lot of time in the pool these days! She absolutely loves water play (we're still working on her drinking the pool water problem) and we love watching her play, full of smiles and laughter!

The girls were very busy all day so it was difficult to get all three of them together; however, right before leaving we were able to convince them to snuggle up for a photo shoot :) I'm not sure Josie was totally comfortable with the situation as Taylor decided it would be a fun time to swing her legs over her head... 

Visit with the Harris' Family

We had a great visit with the Harris Family! Thank you for letting us come to meet Josie at only five days old :) Josie was mostly interested in sleeping, but Taylor and Ella did their fair share of playing. All in all, a successful day.

Father's Day Surprise

Taylor picked out (on behalf of her and Caley) Daddy's present this year including the gift bag and making him a custom card :) (She bought him 2 polo dry-fit golf shirts and a very nice pair of leather sandals - good job Taylor!) Then Omi & Poppy surprised us with a visit. We went out for a very nice Father's Day lunch and Taylor practiced saying "happy daddy day" and "happy poppy day".

Great Grandma Ann gave Taylor money to pick out something she really wanted (for her housewarming gift). Taylor didn't even need to think about it... she wanted a water table!!!

Today we had our gender ultrasound for Baby Neilan 2.0, which we can now tell you is a GIRL and her name is going to be Caley Grey. Despite the complete initial shock (as i was 100% convinced we were having a boy!) we are very excited about the news. I think Taylor is going to love having a little sister to play with :) The ultrasound technician said that she is measuring right on point and looks perfect! That's what we like to hear!
