fun filled weekend

Quite an exciting weekend for us!
On Saturday, Taylor had her first soccer practice. It was really more of a meet and greet and open hour of running around getting comfortable running with the ball and such, but Taylor loved it!!

Caley was thrilled to get in on the action!

Saturday afternoon Taylor and Caley had a friend over to play AND wound up having their first ever friend sleep over (at our house)!!

THEN, on Sunday, I had a 5K race (Simsbury River Run).

We had an amazingly fun weekend!!!

Easter

Morning egg hunt & Easter baskets!

Taylor was on the hunt for eggs and Caley was content to just shop the Easter basket

better late than never

We hosted Easter lunch. In addition to the Walkers who came for the weekend, 

we had Omi & Poppy and Aunt Chris & Uncle Lance! 

It was a great day. Great food and even better company :)

It was a weekend full of excitement, and way too many treats.

We put the girls to bed (in their own beds) but when i went up to go to sleep, found Caley sound asleep in our bed. I think she may have been sugar disoriented by the end of the weekend!

Christmas Tree shopping!

Our first year ever to go as a family and pick & cut down our Christmas tree! We had a lot of fun (and learned that we might be xmas tree snobs). I think this is the first of many years we will be cutting down our own tree.
