In case seeing Santa twice in a week was not enough, we also saw him in NJ while at Grandma Cristine's house! He came by on a firetruck and gave out candy.... oh boy!! The girls must be on the nice list for sure!

Santa Visit

We briefly saw Santa on the Polar Express train, and made arrangements to go back and see him the next day to tell him what we would like for Christmas (and of course to verify that we have been good this year and should be on the nice list!)

Line wasn't toooooooo long, we did pretty well although the girls did find the waiting to be hard.

Caley spotted Santa... "he's over there!"

 And then Caley realized she is terrified of Santa up close...

 Taylor needed some coaxing, but she did speak to and sit on Santa's lap

 As you can see, Caley was not having it. She was ready to climb over Pat's body to get away

 Here Santa is asking Caley if she will come back to see him next year. Her answer: "Nooooooooo"

Santa's Workshop

We brought Taylor to Santa's Workshop [at the North Pole naturally] so that she could meet Santa and tell him what she would like for Christmas. We waited in line for an hour, outside, and when it was finally time for us to go inside the workshop Taylor was signing "all done" [not a good sign when you want baby to sit on a strange man's lap!] Taylor was less than impressed with the situation... actually she was completely terrified of Santa - major tearfest. After Patrick relieved Santa of holding a very unhappy Taylor, she looked back [curiously] at the kids behind us in line who were now joyfully smiling on Santa's lap.
