Caley tummy time

The video was taken after she had been doing tummy time for a few minutes already, so she was starting to get tired. Unlike Taylor, who HATED tummy time, Caley seems to like it... or at least not hate it! :)  She does a pretty good job for 3 months old.

Caley has recently learned that tummy time is an excellent time for sucking her thumb. When she needs a little break she happily sucks her thumb, and well her entire fist really.
She learned this from her cousin, Josie ;)

Taylor 2 year check-up

Taylor had her 2 year check up this morning.
She is 35.5" (90th %ile) and exactly 25 lbs! (25th %ile)
Her weight for length is only 5th %ile, but its on the chart!!

She did great considering we had to wait for almost an hour and she had to get 3 shots which was heartbreaking because she was screaming "mommy, no!" She got to have 2 packs of fruit snacks for that!

Taylor decided to play "mommy" with Caley and her doll, Robyn. She read about 5 stories to them and Caley thought she did a great job.

Taylor doesn't like when i sing (she says 'mommy, no!') but Caley seems to enjoy it and now smiles and babbles back to me.

NJ Visit

2 months old!

Caley had her 2 month check-up yesterday. She was smiling a ton and did "impressive" tummy time for the doctor.

Her stats:  10lbs 13 oz (approx 50th %ile) and 23" long (75th %ile)
Weight for Length 15th%ile

 

For size comparison, at 2 months Taylor was 10lbs 1 oz and 22"
