Thanksgiving

My mom and Melissa came up to spend Thanksgiving with us. We were thrilled to have them, and happy that their travel wasn't TOO terrible. In worrying about prepping food and such, i forgot to charge my camera! So, thank you to Melissa for taking pics with her iphone...

Christmas card photo session

Consistant with my being a photo slacker lately, after about 30 emails from Shutterfly about the christmas card specials (all of which made me think, UGH i still need to take pictures for those) i finally got my act somewhat together. Waking up with a 1/2" of the snow really got me motivated. I threw the girls in christmasy outfits and we had a 2.5 minute photo session... An hour later our christmas cards were on order :)

Caley 2nd Birthday parties

Caley had a few birthday dinners / party / all day celebrations! :)  We had a really great time celebrating Caley with family and friends!
(I have just been a slacker with the camera and uploading pictures.)

On Caley's actual birthday we had friends over for Thai dinner and a yummy cider cake...

Then came birthday party # 2 (her first bday party was a few weeks ago in NJ)

 Ella, Taylor and Josie were happy to do the birthday craft (ornament decorating) but Caley was too busy being a party pooper to join them...

The cake! I made a coconut layer cake (to be snow) for a Frozen themed cake.

 Daddy was able to cheer up the birthday girl.

 Back to the ornament craft project that Caley still did not participate in

She was a little unsure of the whole singing thing, even though this was the 3rd time!

 And then it was time for presents! Caley didn't do most, or really any of the opening, but thats what having an older sister and cousin is for...

 Then came the after party, where the play doh came out and any remaining sense of order in the house went out the window

Caley had a great birthday, all 3 times it was celebrated!! Thank you to everyone who shared in her special day with us. xoxoxo

Happy Birthday Caley!!!

Hard to believe our baby Caley is two already!!! She has grown into quite the girl. Full of energy, spirit and life, Caley is definitely one to walk to the beat of her own drum. Caley is very strong willed (as well as physically strong) determined - she has to do EVERYTHING for herself, and really just hilarious. She makes us laugh daily, we love her so much! She and Taylor are the best of friends (most of the time) and it makes our heart melt.
