1 month old
Taylor had her one month appointment yesterday.
She weighed in at 8lbs 4 oz & 20 1/2".
Quite a big jump from her birth weight of 6lbs 7 oz!

due date
Today is Taylor's actual "due date".
Its hard to imagine if we would have had to wait until today to meet her now that we have had her for 10 days... 10 days that feel like forever! Here she is just minutes after her birth. She already looks so different to us... She's almost a big girl now that her belly button has fallen off :o)

beggars can't be choosers
We have been having a tough time finding newborn size clothing for Taylor. We finally decided that we couldn't be picky if we wanted this baby to have anything to wear. We found a couple items at GAP, but they are for baby boys... so we decided we would just accessorize to make them look girly! Here is Taylor wearing her new velour one piece. Notice how the mittens and hair clip really make it obvious she is a girl :)
The scarf and hat were a gift from relatives in Italy. I know they are huge on her, but way too cute for me to resist putting on her.

the aftermath
Taylor seems to have her days and nights mixed up. When she starts crying at night the dogs get very frustrated. This is what they look like the next day...

impossible
Taylor is impossible to wake up... In trying to get her up so she could eat, we put her in the pack and play and i turned the light on in the room. 5 minutes later i went to check on her and this was how she had re-positioned.
Earlier in the day, while also trying to wake her to eat I tried everything I could think of to get her up - including stripping her down to just her onesie and making her "dance" when that didn't phase her even a little we decided to annoy her relentlessly. Here she is trying on her UGG boots :o)
